God Keeps His Bhagti In His Own Hand

we spoke to Baba Ji earlier on and would like to share the divine wisdom with the sangat. Baba ji said that God keeps His bhagti in His own hand and reveals it to whomever He chooses. That God is the Jyot (Divine Light) and cannot be manufactured by people and installed into stone idols or religious books. Religions are busy in saying that their statues or scriptures contain God's Light e.g. In the Sikh Ardas, the first part is by Guru Gobind Singh Ji upto "Sabh Thain Hoi Sahae", but the next part was added by the religious leaders "Dassan Patshian dee Jyot Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji..." which means the Jyot of the ten Gurus is the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This is incorrect, the Divine Light of God is the living light, is the source of life and is what we call the soul. So the Divine Light cannot be passed into a manufactured scripture. But the scriptures came from the Divine Light that was manifested in the Gurus and Bhagat. And in turn the sacred writings tell us how we too can have the Divine Light manifest within us.
God is not under our control or under the control of any religion, so it is wrong to say that some idol or scriptures are God in order to gain followers and to keep them in a belief system. Only God is the controller of who does His Bhagti and to whom He reveals Himself. But religion even having started off with Truth, over time gets corrupted by selfishness. Baba ji said that selfishness in people has been there from the very beginning. Pride and Ego are actually the two horns of Satan.
Satan is the shadow, God is the Light. Since the beginning of creation, Satan said to God that he will not let God's Name be
remembered in the world. The ones who are selfish are being run by these two horns of Satan. The ones who are selfish are also running the religions. Why are the priests and religious scholars selfish? Because they do not sacrifice themselves to serving Truth with love and compassion. The one doing Kirtan (singing) is not merging himself into the holy word (shabad), but is thinking about where the next donation is coming from. The one doing Katha (talking) is not believing the stories himself as he does not even do those things himself that he is preaching, and he too is more concerned with how much money he will make. The businessman sitting in the congregation (sangat) is not listening with full attention either, he is thinking about his business. When he goes home and has sex with his wife, he is fantasising about another woman. When he is at work, he is thinking about going home. Instead of working honestly, he tells lies and does whatever he can to make money. From the businessman to the priest in the temple they all tell lies. Even being truthful and honest most of the time isn't good enough to enter God's court (Dargah).
The demi-gods (330 million devi-devtas) only lied 1%, but they are all below God's Realm of Truth (Sach Khand). Guru Nanak Dev ji himself exposed this type of delusional thinking by the priests and the congregation. Guru Nanak Dev ji was invited to pray with the Muslims. When they bowed he did not. Then they got offended and said why didn't you pray with us. To which the all-knowing Guru ji replied that he had finished his prayer, but the muslim hadn't even started his because his thoughts were with his horses.
[On a personal note, recently we went to a letting agent and sat there for a while watching him work. In one breath he was discussing with his friend about how his fasting was going - it was Ramadan. He was asking at what time he started his fast that morning and at what time he would end it. He was so precise, "I will eat at 7.54 pm tonight". He would not risk even eating one minute before that no matter how hungry he was. Then whilst he was working he made some phone calls and every other thing he said was a blatant lie. Then he forged a letter and a signature to cover himself. My dad said to him "you are doing puttay kum..wrong deeds" to which he laughed and said "We are the professionals of puttay-kum!". This kind of thing happens in all religions. Another friend told me about the Jews in Israel who are farmers. They are supposed to leave one field fallow every so often to let the soil recover. This is part of their religion, so if they dont do it , they feel they are in God's bad books. So what do they do instead? They do not farm it that year, but instead rent it out to another farmer! Even with Sikhs there are so many things that the religion makes us think we have to follow otherwise "God will be unhappy with us." For example, many times I've seen people or children including myself being told off for having their feet outstretched and told off for pointing their feet to the Guru Granth sahib ji. Have they forgotten the story of Guru Nanak Dev ji in Mecca and his feet pointing to the Kabba, and Guru ji replied "point my feet to where God is not?" Recently in our local Gurdwara the police were downstairs and the president let them go into the hall with their shoes on to grab someone (who was actually sitting quietly meditating and doing nothing wrong). The religious elders were outraged by the police with their shoes on and were ready to sack the president. They are so concerned with shoes and feet and covering head that they forget God does not look at any of those things, that he only looks at our deeds. Again Guru Nanak Dev ji said 'agay jat na jor ha agay jeeo nivay" --in God's realm there is no caste or status, only the humble reside.]
Talking of Guru Nanak Dev ji, Baba Ji said that Sikh artists have told another lie by painting portraits of Guru Ji with a turban. He never wore a turban, but did wear a hat on occassions depending on where he was going. [Also in meditation, Namjeevan Ji was blessed with Guru Nanak Dev ji's vision, to which she replied "Sorry but i do not recognise you" and guru ji said that he was Nanak. Namjeevan replied, "but you have open hair?" Guru ji replied, "the artists added the turban."]
Baba Ji said that God does not look at your name or your religion or your status or how good you were at following relgious illusions that made you delusional. God only looks at how much you served Truth with love and compassion. God only looks at how much we sacrificed and surrendered to serving the Truth. The priests haven't sacrificed anything, they are too busy being motivated by selfish material gains. They have no control over God and hence cannot do anything for you to get you to God. Most of what they tell you is religious illusion and when you believe it it makes you delusional. God's Jyot is NOT is any stone idol or any scripture no matter how much they tell you it is. It's a lie. The living light of God is the source of life and is in your own soul and every soul. The soul where it fully manifests is a Pargatio-Jyot - the divine Light is the Guru i.e. God in the heart of the Sant. Baba ji said that at the time of Guru Nanak Dev ji , in Asa-Di-Var Guru Ji wrote that Dharam (path to spiritual union) had lost three of its legs becuase of the dark age of Kaljug i.e. people's selfishness. But Guru Nanak Dev ji had re-established the Truth and true Dharam, however now, Sikh religious preachers and leaders had knocked down the fourth leg of Dharam as well. Why? Because they actively slander, insult , deny and some have even killed the souls that have become Pargatio-Jyot - Sant - Guru.
Baba ji said that under selfishness people think they have found love in the world e.g when they fall in love with another person or love of their possessions, but actually all that is is infatuation. That they are under the influence of Satan (ego and pride) whose job it is to make people pursue this false love and remain ignorant of true love. But this false love leads only to mental turmoil which is hell. The real heaven on Earth is only delivered by the Pargatio Jyot - Sant Guru.
So the thing to remember is that religion and its priests do not have any control over God, they are not able to give anyone the gift of Bhagti, nor of giving anyone a glimpse of God. So dont believe the illusion they create that God's Light is in a statue or a scripture. Dont become delusional like them. Instead, remember that only God has Bhagti in His hands and gives this gift to whomever He bestows his grace upon. And his grace comes through his manifested Divine Light - the Pargatio Jyot - BrahmGiani - Sant - Guru. So pray to God for the dust of the feet of the Pargatio Jyot , pray for the gift of Bhagti, pray for Lord to bestow His grace upon us.
Dust of your feet
